Csm420sl gyro Question

I stuffed my raptor last week bust the tail pushrod and the gears in the servo
I have put new gears in and had it test hover its all over the place.
Question is I think these gyros remembers where end points are etc now because I have changed the gears I am now thinking the gyro needs setting up again ?

The gyro will remember how it was set up. The reverse and digi servo settings will stay the same, but you should reset the end points. Work carefully through the quick setup routine and you will be fine.

Pay attention to getting the linkage set up so that it doesn't rotate in non-heading hold - these gyros do not like any tx trim.
