after running in my 55 and leaning it out i was suprised how much extra power than the 50 hyper it had, whilst running very rich i could tell the motor would be good
i tried every way i knew to get it to bog down but it pulls like a steam train
      i love it

Check them out every few gallons and change both at the same time .
You dont have to change them both but at least its peace of mind, well ish anyway .

I think some poeple can tell from the sound the engine makes I for one noticed the difference as soon as I started the heli up with new bearings but other wise youll have to take the engine out of the heli, take the piston and liner out and also the crankshaft and I place my finger on the center of the bearing and twist it with the end of my finger if I feel anything bar smoothness then I change, that goes for any bearing not just engine.

Taking the backplate off and taking the piston etc out is good fun and youll have to do it sooner of later, heres a good video I watched before changing bearings:

Lol mate, I've already done my research and know off the noise as an indication. and thats how I already check the other bearings! I thought there was another way of checking them! I've got a PDF saved on my laptop for a step by step on engine maintenance!

Thanks for the response and extra Vid!
