hi all,
anyone one on here good with computers?
im having trouble getting my laptop to communicate with my csm sl720 gyro. iv bought the usb adaptor but when i try to connect with the gyro is says unable to find usb.
i sent csm a email and they got back to me this morning but i dont understand some of the stuff like a and b channel and unistall the driver.
iv downloaded the 62bit driver which Wendy at csm linked me to, but still when i connect the usb to my laptop i hear a sound but i no longer get the new hardware found sign pop up.
this is the email she sent back to me.
my laptop is running windows vista
any help/ guidence will be much appreciated.

Dear Jon,
Sorry you are having problems with the USB adaptor. I'm presuming you have loaded the drivers for both channel A & B, but it might be that you need a different driver. A universal one (for Win 7 and all windows platforms, 32 and 64 bit) is available at www.rcmodels.org/csm/spares_and_accessories.htm - you may have to uninstall the one you've got to get the computer to come up with the 'new hardware' found wizard again.
Don't worry about the error IO.SYS not found, or variations on, this is the computer failing to find the LPT adaptor - some computers search for the USB first, others the LPT first, so just ignore it.
