I think either 1 will do exactly what you want, the 700 will be cheeper on crash parts but they last longer, the 700 is cheeper and more cutting edge.
You will not go wrong with either.
I love my 700, always very predictable and reliable

Hi Craig. Judging by your note you refer to selling a Raptor 90 if so I would be interested. I checked the ebay link another guy gave me but it had already ended.

Well I am considering selling up heli's (nitro at least) so my only use for the 700 is to pass the B on Saturday - subject to being allowed back on the field to fly!

I'll have a firmer view come the weekend, obviously you have seen it fly, no manic hard 3D - so you know the history of it and with one crash back in August last year.

If it goes it would be ARTF, just add receiver. Comes with
Align 91HZ with new bearing last week,
                CY MP6 muffler
                3x BLS451's,
                5254 on throttle,
                JR9600 tail servo,
                DS760 gyro,
                multigov pro,
                switch glow,
                2p2s lipo rx battery,
                CY710's,
                uprated clutch stack,
                duzi rudder push rod holders,
                fusano canopy with cover,
1 set of main shafts and 1 set of feathering shafts and a gal or so of fuel.
Currently it is fitted with Hirobo programmable paddles, but I have the original align ones as well for it.

Not consdered a price yet, again... need to have a think on that one

Again - this depends on if I return to the field...

Hi Jason. I heard about what happened and I can certainly sympathise. Do you want me to meet with you on Saturday at the field if so perhaps you could let me know a time.

Might be an idea to take your number down and send it to him in a PM.

Something no one has mentioned and I am not sure if you are aware is the huge costs of running a 90 compared to a 30 sized heli. Hope you got deep pockets for the fuel bills!

Hi and thank you but what is a PM? being fairly new to heliaddicts I am not sure of the buzz words and jargon. I am sure you are right about the fuel but then we don't normally have this kind of hobbie if we have to count the pennies and what price do you put on such enjoyment.
My wife would probably consider the cost!!!!

PM is short for 'private message'.

I was concerned about the fuel costs of a 90 size heli as well back when I was flying my Raptor 30 a lot and was spoiled to how little fuel it used to drink. But then after flying the 50 helis with OS50 Hyper that kinda broke the ice for me because the 50 Hyper seems to use twice the fuel the OS37 used to burn. Once that bridge is crossed it doesn't seem like such a leap to a bit bigger engine in fuel terms.

The bigger engines are also so much smoother and sound nicer etc. and the bigger helis are fun to fly. Yeah if you only flew a 90 it could get expensive on fuel but if you mix it up a bit and fly the others as well it's not so bad.

I just recently flew my Raptor 50 with an OS46 in it after not having flown it in a few months and was amazed how little fuel it uses...however, it is seriously lacking in power.
