My plan would be to keep the .30, move the electronics into the new heli, and re-build the .30 as you get the parts cheaply.
It depends on the way you fly - for some people it's completely unthinkable to fly with an underpowered heli, others spend too much money on fuel.
Yeah, I started with a Raptor 30 and I thought I would 'outgrow it' when I got other helis but I still enjoyed flying it. I finally did retire it but only because I just have too many helis. Then I have a Raptor 50 that had become a bit surplus to requirements as well so I put an OS 46 in it and 550mm blades and now it's like something in between the 30 and the 50. I can fly for over 13 minutes on a tank.

But back to the point about just having another heli. As an example, I have a spare Ely.Q Ultimate airframe I'd sell cheap and I also have a Knight Sport. Either one would be well under £100.00 for a whole new airframe.

    Anyway, 'something to think about.

Regarding the white gear; if you spin the blades with the engine stopped and the tailrotor spins as well then you already have the Raptor 50 autorotation gear.

Honestly mate I don't know why you want to go to all that messing?? Is it because the 30 doesn't give you the power??
I had the same problem with my V2 30 and it was bogging down so the choice was to upgrade to a Raptor 50 but after doing the sums it wasn't worth it so I just bought an OS 50 and left everything the same,
It now performs perfectlyand is good for 3D.
