I had a Police escort.....

The field I fly from has now become a campsite for a few Travelling People - courtesy of my local council. Needless to say, I have been avoiding the place.

Today there was a police offer in the field (don't ask me why), had a word with the officer and he assured me that he will be there until I complete flying. What can I say...Thank you Officer.

Full 35 min flying and came home feeling really happy. It would have been a shame not to fly today.

That's my prediction as well Wonder if Ladbrook will take any bet on it? And that may lead me to a bigger heli for me but nowhere to fly........Barstuards!!

I had a police escort a few times back when I did contract work for the police as a coach driver. I loved the look on other motorists faces when they tried cutting in on you only to give you a mouth full of abuse or maybe the bird only to see 49 police officers looking back.

Those were the days..
