I just had to stick a message on here expressing what a fantastic evening I had last night.
for the first time on a weeknight I managed to get down to the flying field and now ive sorted out the horrible wobble I wanted to have a good fly.
Now the only problem ive got is at the moment I don't hold an A liscense as ive just returned to modelling after a long layoff, because of this ive been banished to a corner of the field where we practise our hovering. This corner is quite small for IC helis but for the little 450 its a great size.
I managed a few batteries the first couple on hovering and moving around then the last few I started zipping about all over the place, basically flying mini circuits a few stall turns, high speed turns, pirouettes and the like. was fantastic.
when all the other guys had finished on the main field I made sure noone minded and had a little play on the bigger field with the last battery of the evening, WHAT A BLAST!!!!. When this heli is flying well its a real pleasure. tonight rain allowing i'm heading off down again but tonight with the rappy to perfect these damn figure eights, roll on the weekend, if we have half decent weather I could be very tempted to attempt my 'A'.
