The problem with motors failing is that they get too hot and the magnets lose their magnetism. This problem can be avoided by leaving 10 minutes between flights. Unfortunately for me and Trevor we only have one hour at lunchtime and therefore the motor gets used again whether it's too hot or not.

one day down at polling myself and trev did a flight or 2 together.

out we went to the flight line and spooled up together. After

4 mins trev landed
2mins to change the pack and get back in the air again.
9mins I ran out of fuel.
10mins trev landed.

so over the course of 2 flights for trev and 1 tank on the knight trev and his 600 had 1 min LESS flying than I did.

throws out the cost per flight calculations you see banded around :-)

these were both our normal 3d routines flying together and doing pretty similar things through the entire flights.

As a celebration of reaching 200 flights on my rex I decided that I was gonna face the horrific cleaning debacle of my trex 600 today!

I just spent a mindnumbing 47 seconds giving my Trex 600 a thorough clean as it seemed to have gathered four blades of grass, a daisy and a squashed bluebottle.

Any of you guys celebrate your 200th flight anniversary on a machine in similar ways?
