  • Anyone recommend me a small heli ?

I am going abroad this month and i'd like to get a small heli to take with me.

Either a really good small 3ch or a reasonably good small 4ch.

I dont want to spend any more than £30, i know, its gunna be hard to get a small heli for that price, but i know you lot have a better knowlodge of heli than me.

I'd prefer not to have an infared controlled one, but.....

I want it to be precise on controls, not swirl around in forward flight like most 3ch helis.

    Any recommendations appretiated.

    Cheers

You're not going to get anything worth having for £30.00 I'm afraid m8

Best I can think of would be a 4 Channel Nine eagles Solo and their double that double that. >>> SOLO 4ch 4 Channel Helicopter Ready to Fly Nine Eagles on eBay (end time 22-Jun-10 19:31:03 BST)

I know somebody that has one and they fly really well

Micro Twister works well for the money but to be honest asking for precise control for sub £30 is taking the pi$$!!!

You don't get precise control for £200 really

Well, does the twister go in a straight line forward without swirling round due to the crap gyro's?

will i be able to land where ever i want, and will i be able move to anywhere i want with it, or is it like the other 3ch's, when you dont really have any control in which direction it goes and you cant actually land where you want it too ?

          Cheers

Nah, wouldn't buy the Micro twister. Its only a 3 ch infra red jobie.

The other one is pretty much the same as the Solo except they claim it has
Grow in the dark design for unmatched flight during dark
You might find you come down in the morning and find its turned into a 450

Sorry to be a pedant but at the end of the day you get what you pay for

If you get a Micro Twister they are OK for the £30 spent but don't expect spot landings. I've had a quick go with one and they work better than most but that is the best it gets

But I've flown the Nine eagles Solo, and I have to say it really does fly well, and yes, it does have a very solid gyro and good precise control

I can't comment as it's untried here but I am quite happy to bow to your judgement Tiddler

                    Lol,
Well if you've ever tried an mCX, the NE Solo is every bit as good.
Yeah I know its only a little coaxial, but they can be quite amusing fun little things
