Funny you should say that, I was thinking along those lines.

I've had a LWB Transit for years but I had to scrap the ol' girl eventually.
As I won't be doing the PA Hire any more it's time to think smaller.

200sx. I've had it nearly 16yrs now. I like it so much that it's been resprayed twice (first time was a bit of a poor job). I live near work so only 56K on the clock and bags of power. More important it's comfortable.. I'm nearly 6'8"...I can sit in this for hours (done Prague with just fuel stops). It can also take 3 metre lengths timber with the lid closed or 300Kg of rubble to the dump....

I've had 2 Gassers. a 600 and a 450 in it;s case in the back ..all upright with the support stuff in the passenger well. Yesterday we had to stick queaky in the left seat so support stuff in the back and had to put helis on their sides

Nice! Just don't be tempted to leave them in there unattended. There's been one or two tales of woe from forum members that have been robbed.

I got a Mondeo estate. I can get a 90 and a 50 heli in the boot with field box and Tx etc without putting the back seat down, and with the boot cover across.

Too right!.. I do have a sheet chucked over them if necessary to stop for a comfort break etc...but still a worry.
Folk look at you weird if you cart the helis into a toilet stall...

I can fit 1x90,2x50,1x500,1xtable,1xchair,1xfield box and 1xbox with loads lipos in, in my boot (Audi A4) but do have to put the back seat down.

I would have preferred an estate purely for heli transporting reasons
