Al M flying at waterfoot today

Today, myself, Andylinney and Al M went flying up at Waterfoot to take advantage of this fantastic weather we are having . I made some good improvements and managed to get my figure eights a lot smoother and also hold nose in longer than i have before

The big news is that Al who has only been flying heli's for a few weeks (he has only had 3 actual days of flying) took the training undercarriage off and in doing so managed to hold some pretty steady side on hovers and move the heli about the field a fair bit for someone who has only put in the region of 10 tanks of fuel through a helicopter

So a big well done to him for having an excellent day on the sticks

Nice one Del!! was a good day mate... The 600 was looking good today! Well pleased we both had some good flying - and u saw the grin when the training gear come off!

Agreed Del, both you and Al flew really well. Two massive steps in one day with some spirited flying from Del and Al's first big milestone in losing the training undercarriage and getting a more reliable model in the process that's easier to fly (although I forgot just how stable the Raptor 30v2 really is!).
