  • Happy Days!!! T-Rex 450

    Well...

I joined Waterfoot Heli's a while ago. I haven't been up for 3 weeks or so due to working away. So, I have been flying my Blade CX2's non stop and doing some sim work. My Raptor was flying well and hopefully I will be getting it out again this week and next week.

As I have been working away and earning a few extra pennies I treated myself to a T-Rex 450.. my idea being that it can come with me when I am away, and if I can find a quiet spot in work I can practice my hovering! So be prepared for loads of questions on here! (and at the club guys! lol)
If you can keep your head, when all others around are losing theirs - you have probably not understood the seriousness of the situation!!

Al, it was a 450 that taught me to fly mate - they're excellent litttle machines

They are called eddie gold stars. You get them for Going the extra mile to help other members of the forum etc. It's a guy called Eddie that started them and a fair few members have them or have variants of them mate!!

The 450 is a great heli. I have to admit that my "old" 450SEv2 is currently my favourite machine, but then I've not started my 700LE build yet.

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

Sounds good Ant.... I still need to build / set mine up. I am well chuffed, got it from the bay in kit form with £120 worth of spares and 3 Align batteries, all the servo's, gyro and Rx. So I will be out with mine soon hopefully too! I have a Raptor but it isn't too portable when I am working away! So I got the T-Rex to take with me and find a quiet corner to practice in.

I had a rocky start with 450s in general but I really like my 450SE (it's mostly V1 with a few V2 bits). It's a mad little creature and great fun.
