Eveing all,
Some of you may have came across a thread by me last month about "acceptable vibrations" on a Nitro as my 600 has some bad tail vibes.
Well, I've dismantled my 600 and I noticed something weird when I took the engine out.. there was some burnt stains around the fan and the top off the carb and there was a gauge out of the top of the carb aswell.. this wasnt there before and what could have cause this??
I've had a dial gauge delivered and dialed in the fan within 0.002 tolerance, then triple checked everything again... Put it back together took it out and started her up, left her on the ground idling.. guess what.. still got vibrations
.. it still feels like its coming from the engine and the vibes travel to the furthest end point.. the tail.. and the tail blade is going mad aswell as the tip of the fin!
I cant work out what else I can do to stop this.. unless I am being overcautious about something thats normal, but because off the previous thread, I didnt think this was the case!
I want to get this sorted before it causes bigger problems! As I'd like to keep this Nitro Heli but if it does cause a inflight failure.. its getting sold for 600E. So any suggestion?
