I was drooling over pictures of a 700le flybarless the other day and thinking about how it works got me confused.
The swash plate has 4 ball links just like a standard flybarred swash, but only 2 of them seem to be linked to the blades (they go directly to the blade holders).
The other 2 go to arms on something that looks like a washout base. But then nothing appears to influence the blades from there on.
What is the point of this part of a flybarless head? Does it apply damping or something? That is all I can think of, but I am not sure why it would need it there.
Cheers,
Andrew
