The Tx looks like an X-378, a very good tx far superior to a Dx6i. Keep it mate until you can afford a Dx7 or better.

Think one of adies club rule is 2.4ghz though, adie?? Seem to remember seeing that somewhere?

It's an excellent Tx better than a DX6i. save your money and wait for a DX7.

knew it was, 7 channel, no crystals, select channel when you turn it on, with an electrc heli your better off going 2.4 but dpont use a parkflyer reciever, buy a 6200

It's hard to tell from the pictures but might be a 450S and in which case it should have a ali head centre, the head centre is the bit that flex's if it's plastic so if it's got a ali head centre should fly sweet and not really need a upgrade for a while.

i personally would save your money up and at a later date get a dx7 sell that TX when you get a dx7
at least you can get to learn to hover know
us your heli to learn on and get the bling stuff when you can afford to do you need a charger to, you can borrow mine while at the field

I think Adie's right there mate. Learn to hover, because that's really not going to be a walk in the park especially without SIM experience. Learn and once you get to that stage where you can hover properly, start blinging stuff. One by one.

By the opinions from the rest of the gang, it seems lie you've got yourself a pretty neat Tx. My suggestion would be the obvious - stick with it while you learn. Try and fill up that piggy bank in the mean time. Once your confident enough to lift the heli up in the air, go do your stuff... get your thingy - the DX7.

For now, stick to the low end configuration. Learn.

RECOMMENDATION: IF YOU CAN GET YOURSELF A PHOENIX SIM - THAT WOULD BE INVALUABLE. PRICELESS. THAT, would probably be the BEST investment you (will) ever make in this hobby, mate.

And mate, glad you took the leap and got yourself the 450 mate. Be ready (READ: WIFE) to take the ups with the downs! Hope you have a blast mate.

Yeah mate, 450 seems all good at first glance, went for a dx6i off vvazzo on here for 50 quid couldn't really pass it up, then ordered a ar6200 rx to go with it, hopefully arrive Monday, servos aren't quite set to 90 degree so maybe need to look into that, sorry for terms in this next part, noticed it's missing a rubber plug out of the end of one of the skids, and a rubber tube thing that slides over the skid, where can I get these from?.

Also terms again... Where the head joins to main shaft there is 2 wholes for grub screws to go in, although it seems one is missing, should there be 2 in it if so where can I get these from, chap said it was set up and built by modelshop, but prob going to check all metal to metal screws anyway though for peace of mind

apart from that it's all good, minor things really

Thanks mate, like I said, few little bits I just want to be right before i attempt anything, plus get u to have look over it adie. Just taken old rx out and boxed all that up, and then just waiting for parts to arrive, also ordered 3 turnigy 3s 2200 25c packs
