..and there I was keeping names outta it..

(it wasn't that long ago that the tail on my 12S let go in a flip series and the darned thing spun out unpredictably - it was all i could do to avoid Ivan as it jinked into the dirt 20 feet from him)

What a difference a day makes along with some supportive thread replies.

I enjoy flying every time I go out, whatever I do. Managed to get out twice today and get through 10 batteries of flying, in a reasonable wind too- it all started clicking- not elegant yet, but my head sorted out that it was a different heli- I almost did a sub conscious backflip ( piece of cake on the sim), but caught myself just in time :P

Really appreciate the replies from other fliers- cheers and a virtual beer on my for you all

I was the one with the brown trousers.. first he knew was the thump as it bit dirt. I was the one trying to keep it away and wondering whether my black tie and suit would still fit for the inquest

I haven't got enough lipo pairs to fly it very often but that thing is 5HP crazy and was still at the 2400 headspeed back then.

i dont think you'll get out of the mis pitching it or losing concentration for a split second, i did this weekend like a complete and utter tw**, goodbye 600 but its all a part of learning. height is key when you are learning though, and the flight sim is the best thing that will ever happen to your flying for SURE.
