After years of just hovering around with the raptor,I got a 450 clone and ton of spares this best move I have made having a cheapo 450 I was not bothered about crashing it and this has given me the confidence to push my self.
I tried flying side on just left to right doing nice slow turns at each end and found myself getting quicker then started looking like lazy 8s.
So tried this with the raptor bonus hey I can do it.

What a joy its taken years to get this far but I think I ve clicked it feels good another couple years and I should be able to fly round the field.

You'll cut that learning time in half with a sim, you'll be flying around a virtual field in no time, then the real thing

I had sim for 2 years but I have never been able to the same flying at the field as on the sim.
The sim is good but you carnt beat real thing.

I agree, nothing is better than the real thing, but the right, quality sim is a valuable tool in the learning curve.

The 450 is brill had done couple of jobs around house today wife well impressed so tonight after kids in bed I am just going nip down the park and have bit of a fly "go on then" the only down side only have 2 battery packs.

My confidence with this heli is going up each time i fly now.
Enjoying this hobby so much now instead of the negative flyer I was.
