MSR will bind straight to DX7 ?
      Not really directly comparable.

MSR is fixed pitch the other two CP as you know.

MSR is fast fun and pretty stable. Only really suitable for indoor flying but needs a good amount of space as it is too fast for the average lounge space in the UK.

Great for just having fun but not something you will learn anything other than orientation from.

If you go much bigger though you have to think if you'll really be able to fly them inside much or if it is really going to be another outdoor heli.

Its bound to be a bargin
Seem im in a similar position to you, its my birthday at then end of the month and im thinking heli Like the look and price of the hk500gt, would be my first clone but it is a risk, although the reviews seem positive on the whole on the hobbyking website. I have looked at the 250 also but can't really see myself flying it over my 450, but a 500 maybe. My vote would be a 500.

just go with the 500, the 250 would be good to fly indoors when your at work, but get out a buy the 500 you will not look back and you will grow to love it.

I would say the 250 by far.
I've shrank my fleet down to the 700, 600 and 250. I have no need for a 500 or 450. The 250 is awesome in a warehouse or outdoors, increadibly cheap to fly and can speed up progress no end due to cheap crashing costs.

Does look nice but dont think my wife will stump up £200 with the clone I could build fly crash 3 or 4 times for that money as it will get crashed as i am rubbish.

That Atom is a steal, and would only need £100 to get it in the air.

If you are deciding between the Atom and a clone, there is no contest.
