Great day at Byley

[Tom Burgess]

Had a wicked day today.

Tony (tonystevens) got his Aurora dialled in and was on form all day with some great flying.

Danny (dannyyy) suprised us all and broke out of the lazy S's and was doing loops, rolls, flips and tic tocs by the end of the day

Sean (sealee) also progressed with loops, rolls, flips and tic tocs and even a little inverted hovering until his pipe came loose.

Carl (oscar9709) also flew for the first time in a while and showed off a few new moves.

As for me, the Aurora just gets better every flight

I didn't get to have a fly until 6:30! Took the 700 (your old one Tom) and the 600. Had two flights on each, 700 clutch failed, not stripped it yet to find out what the problem was and had a hard auto landing with the 600 - front umbrella gears.
Damage looks minimal and got 'em down in one piece so to speak.

Sounds like I missed a ball, was stuck a couple of miles down the road from Busterboy. But he and the Stainburn posse had gone off to Park Hall. Typical

So ended taking the kids up Almscliffe Crag and it poured with rain

We had a go at "who can land the wing closest to the wallet" at the end of the day which ended up with Toms wing in the tree. we went over to get it out and forgot about smithy's wallet.he'd got back to stockport before he realised!

LOL pinched the 91sr from the LE whilst waiting for a rear bearing for the other, fitted a csm 720 and it was done. Robbed the reg aswell. Will take the engine out maybe tomorrow at work and have a look.

Liking the 720 by the way
