In view of the large number of messages of sympathy that this thread generated, I pointed it out to Jim's family. I have been asked by Julie (Jim's daughter) to post this message on their behalf:
"Many thanks to you all from Jim's family. We wanted to let you know how
much we appreciated your kind messages of sympathy and very much enjoyed
hearing all your memories you have of Dad. How he touched your lives and has
influenced the RC Modelling world. We found it both touching and comforting.
We're very proud of our Dad and his achievements. He was a wonderful man and
a great Dad !"
I have extended our condolences to Julie, her brother Andy, and husband Geoff.

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
My first helicopter was a Morley MXA i got back in 1998, it never flew, i couldnt even fly, but i loved tinkering and rebuilding as i learnt the kit. Over time i've never forgotten it or the Morley name, i'm proud to of had the chance to own a piece of pionnering history.
