    hello everyone im new to this forum so this is my first thread im daryl and im from lincolnshire you all sound like a good community and good to chat to. Well basiclly i dont have the best experience in flying a remote control helicopter but i have a owned a few electric helicopters which i got on alright with. Recently i have just been given a century .30 airwolf which is a fairly big helicopter its in all working order with the transmitter glow plugs and starter my mate gave me it cause he lost intrest :-S now i was wondering is there any tips off u lot for getting to grips with this baby cause im not prepared to start her up till im confident on what im doing cheers guys daz

    Welcome aboard!

    Were I in your shoes I would get on down to your nearest club, get someone there experienced with helis to check it over and go from there.

    Your can find your nearest club by checking the BMFA web site here.

      I will add that if you've not flown before maybe the wolf is not the ideal place to start simply because one daft mistake is going to spoil a lovely scale machine and it's not going to be easy to fix.
      Best to start off with a pod and boom (Wolf without its clothes on) heli to get your confidence levels up first i'd say.

          Heya and welcome to the forum ... theres a few clubs around the Grimsby area ..If you click on the link in my signature this is the club I am a member of .. You will need BMFA insurance to fly though .. If you want your than welcome to come down and I or someone else will check it over and test fly it for you .. we also have instructors and examiners at our site for both mode 1 and 2 pilots
