Okay, today i completed the install of my Torque Tube after driving (thanks mum) to midlands heli's and getting some bits (Thanks Midlands!) Oh.. I have decent tools now
Anyways.. In the mids of Installing the torque tube, i re-configured my head and moved the ball links on the outer section of the mixer arms closer to the head (Faster) i then moved the ball links on my Cyclic Servos out on the arms from 19.5mm to in the 20's.
Then i setup the head and got 14 Degrees Collective and 12 Degrees Cyclic.
After completing the install of the torque tube i richened the engine by half a turn and took it for a half tank test hover in normal mode.
Took off into a nice hover.. Hovers hands off! GREAT!!
Did a bit of a pitch pump and.. FOOOOK ME HOW FAST DO YOU WANT!! Pretty Much instant! Very insane! I love it!! xD
The tail was talking to me saying the Engine was too rich.. But i wanted a rich run anyway..
Now.. bare in mind this is quite rich (Backplate was nice and cooool) and in normal mode... I cannot wait to see what its like when the engine tuning has been dialed in and Idle Up mode!...
Wanted to do some flying but the rain started
