'Just looked at the blurb about it and it does look like a very involved and heavy-duty thing, in the same vein as the powerbox units etc.

Sooooo, here's something to get yur thinking caps on; Figure out a good way to just use ONE of these shared between all your helis.

What would be required is a wiring harness to the servos, preferably with one multi-pin connector, like a small version of the military style cable connectors.

Then you would simply share the one unit with each heli and rebind to the tx for the model settings.

OK, being real for a sec, it wouldn't be practical for all helis, but perhaps for a few big expensive ones.

Nice idea but once i have things installed/wired i don't like disturbing them

What do I need one of those for?
I've got a Vbar with two satellite receivers no need for a main receiver

Yeah that's the challenge. Our normal thinking is to have dedicated everything and have it mounted and wired up custom for each heli.

You can only fly one at a time But being practical for a moment,
if you bring several helis to the field you're not going to want to swap
something like an RX between them, even with some kind of multi-pin
connector for all the servos, because you're going to want to fly one heli
then set it down and grab another one and fly it etc. But the point being
some things can be shared, even RX's, it just requires different thinking and some hardware to make it viable.

I like the idea of the all-in-one Spektrum thing but I suppose my concern would be that if one feature on it fails the whole thing has to come out and be repaired or replaced.
