  • Finally did it!!!!

Went out last night for a flight binned the beam attemting inverted! ( blades, main and feathering shaft, canopy, battery mount )So bit the bullet and tried it with the 700! Untill now I had not even fliped the 700! It's soooooo much easier on this machine. Got a video I will upload later of my warm up attempts the next flight I managed to hold it a few times untill I was ready to turn back over myself rather than panicing or loosing control!!! Wasn't recording in that flight though one thing I've noticed on all my helis when going into nose in inverted the helis always lean to the left which is what catches me out as the small ones move away too quick where as with the 700 I could catch it!

I know what you mean, I'm finding the same same thing, I can hover my 450 inverted quite nicely and even though its all over the place I'm not afraid to keep stabbing in corrections, but when I do it with my 600 although its much more stable I instinctivly keep bailing out as soon as it gets a little out of shape.

Here is the video. You may need binoculars in places to see whats going on. Next time im gonna get a video of me actually holding it inverted for longer.

Theirs no easy suggestion to hovering inverted other than the way I was advised, bring heli inverted then count 1000, 2000, 3000 bail-out then inverted again but each time add another count when you get to 6000 you then move heli left or right & start another count, must admit once I started moving left to right I gave up the count.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Nice one! It took some balls to do that I reckon, having just binned the other heli.
