I see you can now get the metal gears as spares for the DS510 servos (common trex500 swash servos).
i wondere if anyone had experience running a mix of metal amnd plastic on the swash? or is it a case of swapping all three sets?
I ran a mix of HS65mg and hb on my 450 and saw no ill effects untill I had broken all the plastic and changed them all for metal.
I'm just fitting my last spare plastic gears to my trex500 now. Two sets of gears in 18 months isn't too bad - but the worrying thing is I broke one set I the air last summer (in a gusty gale) and got away with it!
Metal must be the way to go!
