Just been on the phone to Colin at CSM, jolly nice bloke he was. The 'throttleSafe' is indeed very new and shops should be stocking them shortly.
A short explaination of how it works is that it is powered by a small seperate battery and apon an rx battery failure/power loss will return throttle to minimum or to where you set it. it will warn of low voltage by blipping the throttle and has an out of range facility where it will cut the throttle too. Sounds brilliant and will definately be getting one.
we use those clips from fastlads on the heli battery leads and on the servo connectors for the big planes, they work great! cheapest way of preventing a disaster for sure.
And i thought my 600 head looked bad last weekend but fack me that is bad. im sure you wanted to hear that though :P

That's still not going to help if the battery goes flat or unplugs, It would be a good help if you are using an fm receiver that doesn't have failsafe.
had the +ve lead of my Align regulator (the cable that goes to the battery) separate itself from its motherboard, so no power to the RX. Was at 30 feet or so at the time and down it went.
I changed the battery connector on the align regulator after I had one pull off when I went to unplug the battery, I converted it to 2mm gold bullet connectors never had a problem after than and I have now converted all my fleet.
