Heli 1, 600n sport - engine all out of sorts, retired for bearings (stripped it down, bearing is sh1t but everything else OK).
Heli 2 600n pro - 3rd tank and I lose it on the third lap backwards upside down (why can't I do backwards upside down circles for real when I can do them forever and figure8s on phoenix!
). Undercart, flybar, blades, shafts as well I expect. Tail survived. Broke the exhaust pressure nipple off the tank which is a new one on me.
Heli 3, 4th pack through the 500, one more flight before I leave. finish with a big high auto and end up almost flying into me, stalled it at waist height, and it hits the deck and boom strikes. Blades, boom, rear stay saddle, shafts seem OK. Sounds like the motor needs new bearings. 18 months in with the 500 and thats its first crash....
Perfect weather it was, perfect pilot it was not...
The engin from the pro is now in the sport so at least that one is ready to go!
