It's a bad idea to leave anything in your car overnight.

Good news though, my confidence in the Police is better than before.

I agree. You hear lots of storys of people having their cars stolen overnight after they have loaded up for a holiday or are moving house. I never have left anything in my car ovenight and never will.

Thing is how far do you go I see lots of cars with stickers on them in photos of flyin's with things align, spectrum,BFMA All this is showing the theives what we have in our cars when we are at the club or could have when parked in the street or our homes but nothing we can do will stop them we just have be one step ahead all the time

good to hear you got it all back i remember reading that the bmfa offer an optional insurance for your helis/equipment incase they are damaged /stolen whilst at your home or on the way to the field.

found it on page 11 of the handbook, might well be worth having

Additional Insurance schemes are available directly
from the BMFA’s Insurance Broker. These include:

                      (1) House and Contents insurance, which includes

cover for model equipment whilst at home, in transit
or whilst left unattended in a secured vehicle.

Really pleased to hear that you have recovered all your gear, excellent news!

Hopefully the thieving toe rags that took your heli stuff are resting at Her Majesty's pleasure, the trouble is they probably got a polite ticking off and sent on their way - bring back the birch I say.

                        Cheers,
                        Simon
