    1. NO more replies allowed to FS posts = use PM's only
    2. The thread originator can update
    3. FS threads will drop off the homepage - if you want it bookmark it or I'll make a link in the quick links for it.
    4. Use Class or RCHA or an.other

Patience is something I usually have for most issues - but this one has just ran out...
Well I for one would like to thank you for the patience you have shown and the work you have put in to make things better (including these new rules).
I have benefitted greatly from the FS section and am grateful you havent just pulled the plug on it which lets face it would be a lot easier for you and completely understandable.

So thanks Stuart I really apreciate your commitment to this site. Without it I dont think i would of discovered my obsession love of helis. Just not sure my wallet feels the same way

Is is possible to have it so we can chose what boards we see on the homepage, so we can control ourselves??
Sounds good to me. I personally like seeing the For Sale stuff on the home page and if there's a bit of a row every now and then I just don't bother getting involved in it so it doesn't bother me at all.

I think there is a way that only the OP can add to the thread. I dont know how it is done but on astra owners club, you can start a diary thread that only you can add to.

Are we not looking for a solution to a problem that does not exist? Or at least exists so rarely to make it a complete aberration?

Do we really need any rule changes? I for one have taken part in quite a few question and answer sessions etc on for sale threads which don't really get out of hand.

The only thing I have seen more than one person complain about is they don't like looking at For Sale threads listed under 'View New Posts' Maybe a tick box so you can turn that off if you desire?

There have been more threads about how to resolve problems in 'For Sale' than there have been problem threads. It seems to self police quite well.
