  • Turning expo on for my throttle curve!what difference will i see/feel?

    what difference does putting expo on the throttle curve make! just wanted to ask before i try it later! thanks

    Hi

    All it does is smooth out the curve, thats it! SO the throttle will feel slightly more progressive - if you can even notice it.
    It very much depends on your curve.

      IMO leave the throttle without any expo & reduce the throttle curve if needed. Expo is best for the cyclics & tail & best dialled out when your slightly more confident.
      You can teach a man everything. Apart from experience.

        That's so not true, As Gareth said it smooths out the points in the curve, Say you have a 3 point V, using expo takes the point of the V away and turns it into a U

          I completely agree to that mate... The V and the U - It made a lot of difference, even if it was on sim, for me... Its just one more of those 'aides' that tries to make yure heli 'feel' controllable... especially when you want to do low-ground flights...

          But then again, like what Gareth mentioned, the EXPO thing actually depends on yure curve setup...
