I need a bit of advise. I want to copy a plastic (Milk bottle) canopy in fiberglass. Will the resin in the gel coat melt the plastic?

I think it will be OK Adam, try mixing a little resin in a cut down bottle to see if it has any effect.Rob

why not just buy a white fiberglass one from weston uk. i bought one to replace my damaged one it cost around £23
not on their website so just give them a ring
just to add you'll be fine copying the canopy if you wish just use a decent releasing agent on the plastic so you can get it off afterwards
