I've just come back in after flying my toy.
I put two packs through the 500esp, first pack was only a gentle hover (new lipo only on 2nd charge) but the 2nd pack was on it's 5th charge, so I spent the entire 7 mins in idle up, spanking it. What a farking rocket ship!!! The 500 gathers speed like a cuise missile.
I'm only using cheap $34usd lipos but so far I'm well impressed with them. Right up to the 7 min mark, each time I gave it full collective the bird took off rapidly.
This toy loops and rolls with ease, it's such great fun to fly it.
I did my first tic-tocs today, not very tidy looking but I did them.
Another mile stone cracked.
The crazy thing is, at the start of this year I could not even fly. The thought of repairing a helicopter (let alone building one) felt like it was an impossible task, as did flying. I can honestly say this forum and, all the people I've met as a direct result of using the website, has greatly accelerated my flying abilities. Thank you to rcheliaddict and it's members, I could not have got here so fast without the help and knowledge sharing I've had.
Oh one last thing, my legs still shake when I fly, more so when I pull off a new move (I don't think it's early onset of parkinson's), I think it's a mixture of nerves and excitement. Will this leg shaking stop or does this stay for good?

Many thanks to all,
Tony
