Are you comparing Revolution's pre-sale price with Fast Lad's post-sale prices for the Spartans?

Yes you are correct that what you want to do is within the letter of the law (if not the spirit).

This is not why the law is there as it is intended to let you inspect the goods then decide if they are what you want. Clearly they are what you want, you just don't like the price any more which is not what the regulations are there for, but as you do not need to give any reason you can do exactly what you want to do as long as the goods were ordered over the net or by phone and not bought in person.

Also as long as you have only inspected the goods and not started to fit them to your model etc.

Make sure you notify them using a 'durable' means of communication (e-mail/fax/letter) not just a phone call.

If you speak to me first at revolution i will sort this out for you.

As you only ordered them yesterday and haven't actually recieved them yet ( but will be with you this morning ) this post seems a little hasty as it reads as though we have discussed this and i have refused to honour the law. Which is obviously not the case.
                So Please get in touch

Bit unfair if you ask me to try and get a discount after you've bought something.

Not at all I have always been happy with revolution models and have ordered quite a few bits from them over the year.

It was just that I could save £50 by getting same product from fast lads.

I dont really want to cancel the order as i will have to pay return postage and i dont think its fair on the company but £50 is £50 quid

I'm sure that Revolution will sort the matter out amicably. I do feel that the practise that you suggest is, in my opinion, somewhat underhanded though.

It pays to shop around and it seems to me that Revolution are going to be out of pocket due to you failing to have done your homework prior to pressing "BUY".

As such I feel that this is a mis-use of the DSR that Revolution may well feel obliged to act on just to maintain their good name.

                          I agree with Mart61.

To be honest you are being a bit cheeky in my opinion. You initially purchased at a price that at the time you were happy with, you should honour your side of the deal and live with the fact that we dont always get the best price available.
