Up the field from 11am till 6pm,just 3 tanks

A mixture of cold northerly wind and the worry of the heli being blown towards me and into the flightline/pits area spoilt my fun today...good news its gonna be southerly tomoz so i can maybe burn a gallon

Just being there is good fun,the banter with good company is all you need

What a great day flying at Stainburn today..

Had guests Kwickkwack (Rob) and Moyesboy (Gordon) round today along with a selection of the Stainburn crew, Shaun / Carl / Richard L / Timmy and myself..

Was very gusty conditions but being hardened northerners didnt stop us getting plenty of flying done..

Gordon even had the balls to fly his 450 in the strong winds and gave us all a laugh.

He also had a fright when his 600 Pro ran out of fuel at a high altitude but managed to get it down about 1 foot from a stone wall miles away from us..

Rob... Gordon, Always a pleasure you guy's so hope to see you again in the not too distant future..

Learnt something new today. Autos by flicking the hold switch rather than it running out of fuel

Not such a great day for me. Problems with my 600 so limited to the 450 that I took, and it really was a little too gusty for that. Still, put a couple of packs thru it and met the guys which is always good.

Its all about enjoying the hobby Martin.

Just a bonus when the weather is good.
