  • Thanks to the Charmouth Organisers

    and the Sponsors.

RC HeliAddicts members were well represented in the raffle winners, Jamiem, Geek, Swashbuckler, Moonmanflyer and myself all won at least one prize (in some cases more). Apologies to anyone I may have missed.

Sundays weather turned out to be surprisingly good and as a result we saw some great flying.

I'd personaly like to add my thanks to Matt and Trev for organising the tests, Matt went out of his way to arrange my A test earlier than planned as the weather was particularly good 10:30 - 11ish. His calm and friendly manner helped calm my nerves and as a result I'm happy to say I passed. I haven't stopped smiling since.

Great to meet people and put faces to names.

All in all a great day out.

See you all again in October.

    Pete (Still Smiling)

        Pete,

Congratulaions on your 'A' test again. You flew it very well and to anybody watching it was a excellant example of how it should be done.

Glad it made your day and look forward to meeting up with you when you do your 'B' test
        Cheers Matt

                    Thanks Guys

@geek - Yes, I remember, it was you speaking to Matt in that foreign language about mode one. Although I didn't realise it was you until I saw the back of your shirt when you picked up a raffle prize.

@Bladestriker - After the events of the previous day Matt took me up to one end of the field away from the bulk of the 3d guys, although it was a bit of a shock when doing my 8s I found myself head on to a gi-bloody-massive yellow turbine scale heli. (It was probably miles away but was so huge it looked closer).

@Moonmanflyer and Bruinbear - special thanks guys, I think myself and Swashbuckler had the better deal of the weather on the Sunday and benefitted from lessons learned on Saturday. From what I heard you should have no problem passing next time.

                    Pete
