RAW vs Jpeg ha ok well a couple of key points to remember:
RAW is non compressed and Jpeg files have a compressed algorithm hence the smaller files and lower quality.
How noticeable the quality difference is in 90% of situations is minimal unless the Jpeg has been highly compressed. Also if you intend to "edit" the image the more times you resave a Jpeg can compress it further hence why photoshop files and Tiffs are better for editing because they are also another type of non compressed/lossless graphic format.
If all you want to do is take pretty decent shots and quickly get them on the comp/editted very simply and basically then I'd probably just say to go with Jpeg. anyways i think i lost the plot maybe.... (it's late, i'm tiered, i smell)
