    hi guys

im still seting up my 450 heli

my right blade is slightly higher than my left blade although not noticable at first sight and when i steer right or left it moves...how strange

    ...why would that happen?

Are the pitch rods the same length, there the adjustable rods that connect to the blade grips.

This is an important stage of your heli build, and any time spent watching and understanding the Finless helifreak build vids is worthwhile.
Be very precise and pedantic in this head setup, always, and never let anything go to chance.

If you get stuck, then pics of what you have will help attached to your post. Try not to do it all at once. take steps, and make sure one step is completed before moving to the next.

What exactly do you mean by "When I steer right or left" Do you mean the main blades move when you operate the rudder stick ??
If so you may have some unwanted mixing set in your tx

As long as all the links in the head are the right length you should be close to the same pitch between the two blades. Then when you fly it you will be able to see if the blades are tracking the same. If one is a bit higher or lower you can turn in or out the link that goes to the blade grip one turn and then see if it tracks better (if you can't tell which one is out then you can take a guess and it will then be either better or worse).

Do as trillian says but make sure you mark one so you know which has been adjusted.

Slightly higher at mid stick zero pitch or bottom stick negative pitch?

If you mean at bottom stick then yes, they will be.

Also, by steer left and right do you mean aileron or rudder? If you mean aileron then yes, it tilts the swash which tilts the blades, that's how the heli tilts left and right.

I am not being funny mate but I really think you should read up a bit more and inwardly digest the Finless Bob vids a bit more because you seem to be stumbling forward a bit without really knowing what is going on, and that will end in a big bag of bits if you are not careful.
