  • EGS Nomination for Gazza

I had a PM from Gazza this morning, totally out of the blue, saying he'd found some 500 parts, and was putting them in the post to me. He wouldn't even accept money for postage!

Last time I bought some batteries from him, he also sent me a load of 500 spares, just said he didn't need them any more, and was happy for them to go to a good home.

Gazza is a very genuine, kind person and in my opinion is worthy of another EGS.

Eddie, If you think appropriate? Thanks

You're more than welcome Brian & many thanks for Your kind words

I know how much You have struggled previously with the learning process & on occasion You've had some terrible luck
But, You've always come through it a better flier & You've taken everything fully on the chin & picked up the pieces & carried on regardless.

Plus You've always selflessly shared such events on here & in doing so sometimes at risk of making yourself look incompetent, Which I know full well You are not. But, others have no doubt learned from your own experiences & perhaps taken a step back within the whole process & duly become a better flier because of it. The quickest way is not always necessarily the right way etc..

It's a pleasure to help where I can. I get more value from the fact any spare bits and bobs I happen to have laying around can go to a great bloke who truly appreciates them & is still as eager to progress in the hobby as he was on day one

Tim & the other Stainburn lads are exactly the same Brian. We help each other where we can & that is what gives us all the motivation and drive to keep at it. Even when things don't go our way, we pay our currency in smiles.
      Cheers,

      Gazza

That's an incredibly kind post, Gazza, thank you. I got the distinct impression when I was up at Stainburn that all the gang there are like-minded, helpful to a fault.

That said, you certainly deserve another EGS as I said.

          Thanks again, mate.
