Never tried the take off bit but we were all do the landing like this is sports halls with the little MS Hornets years ago, hit the hold let it settle on the ground and grab it quick by the skids while the blades are still turning and before it falls over.

a hughes 500 style tail fin would help the take off and to stop it falling over on the landing bit
