You get a mental image in your m ind of these things lol and I pictured it one tree in the middle of huge fields and this heli hit it LOL

Thats not a good total, the only injury tody at our field was my lads 250 that he got caught out by a gust of wind, but only minor damage.
Everyone else came away free from issues bar my os91 has sod all power, had it apart but all ok, so cleaned the carb, re-set the needles and will try again

Sadly my 700 was unable to avoid the laws of gravity and went in with a rather loud thud at lunch time today. The damage is'nt too bad, canopy, main blades, tail boom, torque tube, tail servo, skids and a couple of ball links, Oh well happy days at least I was able to fly the 600e afterwards for a couple of batteries and consoul myself. LOL

I must point out at this point, Sean is more upset at the loss of a skid rubber than he is the crash, so if anyone can find a Trex 700 skid rubber you could really make his day

Sounds like the sunny day has taken its toll. Sorry to hear of the losses one and all. My frame of mind was not conducive to flying today so I stayed home. Perhaps it was just as well. Mind you, I did hover off four packs in the garden on my 250 without mishap.

Thats nothing,3 years ago,and well before my flying started,'crash' gordon who flies at our club done all 5 of his heli's in 5 flights

We lost one Rappy 50 today when the Lipo came free in a hard turn. Unfortunatly the reciver was attached to the Lipo this unplugged most of the leads including the power.

Only good news was it wasn't mine LOL....... Sorry Les.

Was a bad day your right Mark!!! I bit the bullet after you left and gave the 700 her first proper flight after I warmed up using the Beam. It flew lovely and is home on one piece!!!

Losses at our field were the spinner off a lecky Mustang and a Century Hawk Pro after a clutch failure.
