      Hi,

I just bought a T-Rex 450S, and this model is basically in between the XL and the SE.

It has the important metal upgrades where needed, and I must say I like it a lot!

More twitchy than my Raptor 50v2 but so easy to pick up and fly anywhere.

      Cheers,
      Robin.

How much are you looking to spend? if your wanting to spend a lot i cant help but if your wanting a more budget option i have a Dragonus II Sa intruder kit brand new here available with or witout 450 motor and 40amp ESC. Apparently better than the trex, and as its the plastic one you shouldnt get any nasty glitches

I've also got a used SJM400 v1 with motor servos and esc which is a tidy heli (bit smaller than dragonus / trex).

Thinking of quitting, if your wondering why i have all this nice stuff to sell

Time & money are the usual suspects

I keep toying with the idea as I spend fortunes but I know for a fact I'll regret it.

The Mini Titan is a well sorted wee beastie. Don't let the fact that it's all plastic put you off, it's a really nice design and 3Ds happily straight out of the box. The standard combo motor is strong (It's a rebranded Z10).
I've never really been into Trexs, so can't comment on how they compare directly, but I gave a Trex SE flying 3D loonie a go, and he promptly sold his Rex on Ebay and now has a Mini T.

I think the Mini Titan is going to take allot of beating, Im not sure anything else does at the moment. So that is the one on the top of my best buys list in terms of micro electrics at the moment.

                Cheers,
                Pete.

Well technically I am not quitting as I love RC heli's and I will definatly be back at some stage, (hopefully with something bigger) but I need to raise some immediate capital to help my dad at the moment and I am selling everything that isnt bolted down as there is no way on earth i am selling my beloved car... (unless i have to)

If you are really interested in taking advantage of my situation (feel free!)then this is what I have for sale:

1 x Dragonus II Sa Intruder Kit with RC-TEK450 motor and 40amp ESC with 3/5amp BEC. new and unmolested.
1 x Dragonus II SA Intruder Kit only (bought it for spares) new and unmolested

I also have secondhand, only had about 5 flights (i say flights, more hovers)

1 x SJM400v kit with 400 motor and 25amp esc with 3a bec and loads of spares (blades, booms, gears, shafts)
                  1 x Maxpro 3s1p 11.1V 2100mah battery
                  1 x Futaba GY240 gyro
                  1 x Shulze alpha 8 DSB reviever
4 x Supertec Naro BB servos
1 x Futaba FF7 (unsure as to whether to sell this)

So basically i have enough kit to make either a fully working Dragonus II with spares, or a fully working SJM400 with spares.

                  Interested? Help me out!

                    Hmm, interesting.

Well I'm definitely in the market now, just need to decide which way I go. The Drago sounds great but not sure about the issue with the glitching. I'm wating to hear back from Ade on that as a friend of his has one running perfectly on 35
                    Cheers

I have yet to see a dragonus glitch. Just make sure you use a quality ESC and PCM receiver and it will be fine.

The best on the market at the moment is the Dragonus Pro and Comet 500. The Dragonus elite is also a great heli and a bit cheaper.

From what I have heard the mini titan is a good heli for the price.

You can't go wrong with either of the above PROVIDING you use good quality electrics/radio gear.

The Dragonus is having a few probs with glitching unless using DX7 I've heard. Sounds v good though.

The TRex just starts getting a bit price when all blinged up.

Is yours still for sale, if so is it still stripped down or can you sell it with ESC, Servos and motor?

It uses aluminium frames, and plastic head and tail instead of carbon / metal.

Dragonus II SA = Trex 450xl
Dragonus II Elite / Pro = Trex450 SE

I;ve got a video somewhere of a totally bog standard plastic dragonus doing heavy 3d for like 5 mins - its bonkers - if a plastic kit can do that who needs metal
