  • midland helicopters" thumbs up"

i was away from my usual haunts last weekend (southwest) and up in the midlands visiting the folks. being only 3 months into this hobby exploring/visiting new shops is still high on the list of interesting things to do (but not to the girlfriend. she already stays in the car). midland helicopters was only 11 miles from the parents so i thought i would take a look
what a great shop for a heliaddict. not just a visual feast, but the staff were inteligent, polite, so willing to help and talk to you. my blade 400 was an ebay purchase but they were still more than happy to check it over and help set it up/fly it in the shop. highly recomend the experience (if only they were all like this). i wish they were in the southwest!!!

I've spoken to them and bought some stuff from them; A1 service

Then I found out that I had a heli shop only up the road from me; Sussex Helicopters. Small shop but everything is built and on display. Dennis, the owner is very helpful and knows his stuff. He is not the cheapest but stocks everything and the convenience of being able to pop up the road to pick stuff up is valuable. No need to wait for parts.
