Well what a great afternoons flying I had, lovely warm weather with a slight wind. My confidence has grown alot over the past months and I can now fly without nerves which makes it far more enjoyable. My 450 pro is running better than ever and I was flinging it around the sky with ease and managed my first sustained piro flips and without losing height, hurricanes and aileron tick tocks so this was a big milestone for me and I couldnt stop grinning. Then it was time to test 600le which has had a few teething problems so I have only just run it in. Well it was running very sweet and finally managed to crack the govenor which is made a big difference. Well now I know why people rave about the 600, flying it was almost laid back compared to the 450 and I didnt hesitate from putting it through its paces. I was flying it like the sim, so predictable and precise. In fact my newly practice piro flips look amzing on this machine. Its so much fun and very addictive and I just wanted to do tank after tank with it. Well time was getting on and I was going to call it a day but thought im going to have one more tank first. Well this is where things went slightly wrong and the engine cut out in mid air, to my amazement I managed to auto it down which was another milestone for me being my first proper one. However it was far away and came down into long uneven grass and subsequently stripped the front umbrella gears and main gear. The cause of the engine cut was the glow plug popping out. Still im not fussed at all and managed to squeeze in order an with Fastlads before the cutoff so hopefully should receive the parts tomorrow. Im so chuffed with myself, bring on the summer!
