  • Wednesday night bash.

First time this year we have had our mid week evening bash and it went superb..

Got 4 flights in with the 700 FBL before "Bad light stops play"

Had Carl and gazza round so was quite a busy night.

Roll on the clocks moving forward. I can see plenty of nitro being burnt well before summer.

Yep it was a great afternoon! With a kind of summery feel to it and not before time boys

Loved the new 600LE & she flew impeccably (Thanks Tim. Top notch building as ever)

Totally amazed myself as to how out of tune with flying I've become, having not 3D'd a bean in five months.

When I last flew I was performing rainbows, pie dishes, backwards inverted, slappers etc.
Today I didn't have the confidence & it didn't feel right doing anything other than 'Right way up' Circuits & Nose in hovering Brought the heli home in one piece however, so big smiles & easy does it

                Roll on Saturday
                Cheers,

                Gazza

Good to get your head round the first flight Gazza, nothing to be gained by taking off and simply spanking it into the ground, I bet it wont be too long before you are back in tune

Cant wait for the longer evenings to get here and hope to have a little fun with my little electrics close to home

Well, I've done all the decorating in the hotel, and the Mrs is going away on Friday for a week. I've just fitted deans to my 4 new Turnigy 2650 batteries, and charged them up, so weather permitting, I'm going to spend a lot of time down the flying field in the next few days.

BTW, Tim, My Mrs is very keen on spending a week in the Harrogate area when we finish this season, so if you'll have me, I might be coming to see you this Autumn.

                      You have my details Brian.

Just give me a shout when you are over mate.

Just finished giving the 700 FBL a bit of a service tonight.

Starter shaft bearings were rattling somewhat so replaced those with new.

The engine hasn't been out in quite a while so decided a new back bearing wouldn't go a miss, While it was in bits I put a new ring in the engine too,

All ready to rock n roll again.
