  • Heli clubs near wentworth/ascot area

I fly at a club in chertsey and really like flying with the old boys down there, they all fly planks, but unlike most clubs that mainly fly planes, they are always interested in my new "flying contraptions" as they call them.

But i'm not really learning anything new by flying with them, i'm totaly self taught, been flying for years, and have only just started to fly inverted.

So if there are any clubs in my local area that have any spaces left for this year then i would be grateful if you would drop me a line.

Not too sure how far we are away from Ascot, but not that far. Take a peek at our website by clicking the logo in my link.

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

Thanks for your both you replies...

Your club is only a few miles away from me about 25 mins, sounds perfect. Would it be ok if i popped down on saturday weather permitting, just to say hi, not to fly.

I'll send a mail off to your website mailing address.

            Slough!!!

9.2 miles and 20 mins max.

The Slough heli crew can teach you lots of things, just this week they taught me how not to try inverted flight in normal mode, how not to perform stunts on a Gaui 200 in a gale with a video camera pointing at you, how not to make coffee, how to get cheap Big Macs and about the dangers of dating single women on the internet.

PM me if you ever fancy popping down and I'll make sure everyone's on their best behaviour!

We get a good crowd down there, the FW's arent too bad either (when they can be bothered to show up) Got a few very good heli fliers and few tech heads who are always willing to help out, plus generous
club discounts on Align, Gaui, & Optifuel from dealers who are also members.
