  • Titan and 620 Blades?

    Chaps,,

Just got a titan and was wondering if there's any benifit putting 620 blades on it.
Have the standard wooden stocks and was going to change to carbon anyway
    is it worth getting 620's?

To be honest there is not a lot in it,,620`s will load the engine a bit more but it will auto better and be slightly more stable in the hover,,

    I prefer 600`s myself

      Thanks,,

As I'm not up to doing Auto's at will yet, (only if I have to )
and my v2 seems stable enough with the setup I have

      Think I'll stick with 600's
      Thanks for the info

i got 600's on my titan with 92mm tails. stef just put 620's on his, but he spent today chasing a problem and running a new hyper in, so cant comment yet. im not sure they will make a huge difference.

          Hi Jamie

yeh think I'll stick with the 600's

Read about Stef's problem and after his rebuild following a crash, a chap at our club had a similar wobble that would come and go,

I spent ages trying to find the cause, everything checked out apart from one paddle
it was 3mm further out from the centre
Few turns on the paddle and away she went,

          Just a thought,,

Re: the titan, I have'nt finish building it yet, did you have any build issue's

none at all, as i bought it new second hand, and all i had to do was put the main shaft and boom on its a lovely flying machine, very smooth and positive. it easily takes what (little!) i can throw at it

After watching you fly last year and what you could do then
if it can handle that I'm sure I'll be happy with mine.

Btw does it make your level flight smoother

Think I’ll wait til the inevitable first crash then get some 620z
