Its bitter cold today, even the burner was shivering

The brain doesnt do well in the cold, and if the brain aint working, what chance do the fingers have...i watched a couple of buster boy vids last night, one from October and one from 29 december, the difference in his flying was clear to see,he didnt fly anywhere near as smooth as the october vid

Was lucky from 11.30 till 3pm,the wind is coming from behind, but now the sun is in the sky where i had been flying,so i came home....it was that bitter i never cleaned my models

Far too cold today, but managed 3 tanks on the 600 and tried a couple of new things.

Hoping next week isnt as windy.

Well, all in all, a good morning's flying was had by all. I got four flights in myself, one of them not without issue, as you can see here.

I'm still loving the 450! It seems so blasted stable and just does what I ask of it, even with the wind gusting as it was today.

I went down to my nearest flying site a locked Car Park with open field adjacent where over the course of two hours we accumulated a total of five fliers for an impromptu meeting.

Was darn good fun despite the freezing cold and if we had a private field we could start a new club!!!!

Cheers Andy, Jack, Scott & Steve see you all again very soon

It was pretty darn windy in Sussex today but it was great to go along and meet some new faces at the shuffyflyers club! Great guys with a nice setup! Shame the wind/cold thumb claimed a couple of victims. luckily I wasn't one of them!

Cold and windy in East Sussex. Wasn't happy taking the Trex 450 up...and fed up putting it back together, 500 was fine though. However after a couple of minutes hands were frozen so landed. Got a small camera mounted to the heli, so then went for some high altitude flying...only have to move one thumb to do that...whizzed up vertically nice and fast...let it hover for a moment and then let it drop. Was hoping that the camera would pick up the falling, but it was angled to much towards the ground.
