  • Flying after work

Atlast ive had my first mid week after work fly and it was great, can literally smell that summer smell in the air and even getting attacked by those pesky nats.
Anyway a little update on how im doing and its going ok, getting into side on very easy and then flying backwards, a little stall and side in with the tail on the right. lovely jubly.
Flying the heli around with confidence get moments of racing heart but its only because if I crash I wont be able to fly the rest of the batts lol.
I think i'll deffiantly appreticate the 500 weight wise, I notice the weight from my old batts to the new and its alot more twitchy.

Looking forward to lighter evenings, as I now have permission to fly in a local field with my electrics. Other than that the two main fields I fly at are 30mins and an hour away which makes it impractical at the moment.

Don't want to upset anyone, but as we are not open yet, and the weather was stunning, absolutely no wind, I went out this morning, flew all six batteries. Had a really good time, but I'm not saying any more, cos I want to impress Tim with my progress this weekend. (I hope! )

BTW, forecast for tomorrow is excellent, so I'll be out tomorrow.

I hope to get up the field tomorrow after work if I managed to escape ontime. I think I could be setup by 5:15 which should give me about 45 mins.....
