i dont get home until half 5 at the earliest and thats with food traffic back from cambridge down the m11 and a14
sitting in my lessons (free period now but get a lift later ) looking outside and thinking...i could be flying
i am intent that next time i go out i will do my first circuit and 8's (ive done flips but not these )
i have wednesday off as a teacher training day so hoping the weather stays good till then but i bet it rain...it would just be my luck!

Ah i will do Nick, quite enjoying this B test practise, sounds boring but isn't as you are having to think so hard about it all, i will be glad when i can get back to stick banging mind, but hopefully a better pilot for it

Took the Trex450 out for a late arvo spin, second for the day.

Was on my first battery (Align 3s 25c 2150mah) and had got to about a minute into the flight and was about 10-15m up. It was fairly level but then it seemed like I had a power outage as the engine died and had no servo control. I flicked on throttle hold which I'm sure did sod all as I'm gathering I'd lost all comms with the RX if it had no power. One blade hit the ground hard and one of the black skids aswell. Broke both of them and that looks like the only bit of damage. Just ordered some parts from Sussex but didn't order any blades as I want to try and get some PRO 3D FRPs as they're cheap.

Any ideas on what could of caused this? I've heard that it could of been the ESC overheating or could of been loss of comms or the RX?

Pretty chuffed though that the heli has lasted since Christmas without a crash and the first one wasn't my fault!
