  • New Nitro?

    I'm toying with the above.

Will be 50 sized and will use OS55, DS610's on cyclic with the rest to be determined.

I'm going to try to get gear that will move with me towards other models in the future should I stay with Nitro. The current choice of 610's on cyclic is purely due to performance versus cost. I'd like to jump in the deepend and go with 2s Lipo power straight away but I'm not convinced yet I will stick with it...again

Cost and common sense tells me a good kill 2 birds with one stone device for a regulator will be the Align 2 in 1 but I'm looking for other choices as I have various glo starters available. The Scott Gray one is out of the question due to issues in the early ones and the current ridiculous price. I've looked at this and I'm now looking for other input

My 2in1 has been spot on since I have owned it, and probably wouldnt think I would need anything else from a regualtor.

    What machine you going for?

I've also had no trouble with 2 in 1's. Still use one of the original type on my Knight.
That Perfect reg does look cool though.

I had a 2 in 1 on my Knight but just looking for forward compatibility if I should switch to higher voltage servos etc. etc. etc.

            Nothing else worth using then?

I'd also go for the 2-in-1.

If you are looking for flexibility to determine the voltage delivered to the servos then perhaps the ElyQ regulator is worth a look?

Not sure what sort of feedback those flying with them give though.

Why not consider something like the CCBEC Pro? It will take 2S to 12S input and variable output from 4.8v to 12v and 20A peak.

The way I see it, I can run this at 6v for now with 2S lipo, then later switch to a 3S pack and run regulated 8v.

Fromeco Arizona regulator with pin flag (remote "fail on" switch).
                    Superb.

                    Cheers,
